Missouri river bottom south of Sioux City, IA
You also need to check the software version number next to on the “Translator Control” hardware number. It needs to be 2833405-00. The tractor will not receive Trimble Autopilot CAN signals until that version of software is installed on the tractor. Your Cat dealer will need to do the software upgrade. Another thing to check is the CAN connection on the back of the tractor. It’s where you would connect up your implement CAN cable to the tractors CAN system. Make sure it’s there because that terminates the CAN system. A Trimble Autopilot installation on a Cat MT with ISO is quite simple. It can be done in less then an hour. Four holes to drill for the NavII controller, then bolt on the antenna roof bracket and the rest is running and connecting cables. No calibration needed except of antenna roll offset. List price using EZ-Guide Plus WAAS is $7,495.
