NW Iowa | I have noticed that coming up when the heated DEF hoses start to go bad. Also check your electric plugs coming off the hoses by the DEF module under your steps. Had a few that needed replaced. About 7-10 years and they go bad. The replacements look tougher.
I keep a set on hand, the single to the nozzle and the double set. Close to $500 for all.
i have had a couple ghost codes come up from time to time. Shut it down wait a couple min, hit your battery disconnect by your foot, and start back up. See if it comes back on. This can also buy you time to finish what you are doing, as it resets the de-rating.
If you reset it too quick you will get a flashing triangle and a code. Just shut off and restart and it will go away.
They also have a updated version of hoses for colder weather. I believe you have to have a software upgrade after install.
