It's hard to say. I always thought I had 10% death loss. I've almost quit buying completely due to several factors. Interestingly I feel like I was 100% successful with the few I bought last year. So I suspect it depends on the buyer and the level of care. But I feel like I rarely bought cattle with health problems. But instead management/nutrition problems.
