| By the way, a few years ago, I bought a farm for $2350. Rents in the area were around maybe $135. Now I'm sure I could rent it out for well over $200. Could probably have sold it last summer and doubled my money. Timing/luck are important. I think the other thing driving land prices up is lack of available rental land. If you want to farm more, you may have no choice but to buy it.
