This is a newer 2388 are the motors different in size $$? Location?
All the motors in the 2388s are the same. They’re all 8.3l Cummins. I have a 2005 with an 8.3l, cable throttle, no fan clutch, etc so assuming one out of a 1688 would work, but will need to be turned up. An 8.7l out of a magnum will not work. I don’t think they went to electronic engines until the 2588 or 7088.
