North Carolina | Don't waste your time planting them into a mixed grass established stand beans won't take the competion from the grass BUT you can spray with gramoxone before planting and it will give them a head start then when you mow them the grass will be there and really do well when beans are gone You will have to put P and K down at 40 and 90 units / acre. Been doing it here for last 3 yrs but I also put some pearl millet with them so they are not so hot last yr this combo yeilded 15 4x5 rolls to the acre for me | |
