2 irrigated quarter sections in NW Kansas last week brought $2625/acre, each. 331 mainly cultivated acres in NC Kansas next to a dying town brought $1132/acre. That is up over $200/acre from a year ago. A 160 acres of grass sold for $830/acre. Land formed a V going from one side to the other and steep, >10% slope on about 50% of it. Private treaty sales in the area are pretty well nonexistent. Everyone is selling via the auction route.
