SE Iowa | I have a customer with a Case 2150 with PP vDrive on it and a Gen 3 20/20 and Pro 700, NavII, RTK 372 w/DigiFarm. We fought it last spring where he would be planting and then all of a sudden, the planter icon would flip around and then back to normal again on the 20/20. Every time it did it, it would leave a gap or make his autoswath do funky stuff on the next pass. He had to run with autoswath off until he reached where he needed them to shutoff and then he would turn them back on. Come into spring with all new firmware on the case side and the 20/20 and it's still doing the same thing. Case dealer says they are only supported on the Gen II 20/20 so we put a Gen II in it and same ol same ol. It's almost like the Nav can't handle doing steering, the DigiFarm Beacon and the nmea output at the same time. Last year towards the end of the season, we put another 372 on the cab to just run the 20/20 and it didn't glitch once. He also notices that when everything is going at once, it messes with his steering. He says random steering errors will pop up and it does weird glitchy things like what happens on the 20/20. Now the Case dealer says he needs to run it through the Pro 700. Is there something we're missing? We have tried a different monitor, Nav, 372, and now a 20/20 with no luck. Is anyone else running a Precision Ready Case planter with the same setup and getting along fine? | |
