I never had one but like you there were several in the neighborhood. All I heard was cussing about dirt buildup and trying to keep the scrapers on the thing. Freshly tilled dirt was just too sticky and openers built up. The one still running one has taken all the cultivator shanks off and just uses the disc openers.



There’s a 730 near here running with a set of Unverferth rolling baskets in place of the cultivator shanks, and another 730 that was completely changed over to have a smooth roller instead of a cultivator.
