Rafe' don't forget, an awful lot of Deere Drills have been sold and they do a good job with Minimal Maintaince compaired to a row planter for the $$ invested..

Most of the problems you hear locally with Drill's are condition related......we tend to plant alot early soil temp wise then most would like to admit

Just yesterday I was out spotting beans in for a guy that planted first pass with a 15 inch planter....

With that said, the best money I've spent on my drill is Aftermarket closing wheels, If it wasn't for all the small grain i've been doing I'd consider SI belts...but when it comes down to it can anybody really prove perfect spacing on beans pay?
