I like my 9 row 20" planter for notill beans. Works well with the 30" corn stalks, no 20 " bean row is right on the cornstalk. Almost as fast of canopy as the 15" rows, way better than the 30" I used to do.

Here a 4 row wide planter is cheap, the trick is finding a splitter bar or a complete unit.

I used it for the sweetcorn patch this year, won't know how that turns out until July or August.
