C IL | We looked around and couldn’t find anything we thought was a reasonable solution so we decided an Emerson jack/jackstand was the most reasonable alternative, and one showed up here a week ago.
Plain Jack stands seemed to cost half of the Emerson jack ($500+ For the jackstands). High lift jack assemblies, where you put a regular jack underneath a plate and lift from the ground cost 3/4 of an Emerson jack.
I never see a mechanic with a big jackstand, they all have an Emerson jack with the tall Extension.
Maybe we just looked in the wrong places. | |
