| Jim I like Herefords. Hereford will retain more testicals than other breeds . No big deal. I’ve castrated my fair share of calves. I worked a set of my home raised calves from Nebraska genetic HH bulls and had s retained testicle. I don’t see than when I turn out bulls from other breeds. I’m not saying that’s always the problem. Sometimes idiots push one nut up and band them that way intentionally.
