Silver Creek MN | My wife is addicted to that show. Sometimes I watch it with her. Five minutes into the show I start thinking about what might be on AgTalk. Poor Dave the realtor rarely has a chance of winning. The arrogance of Hillary makes me appreciate my wife a lot more. I wonder what it would be like if they had an episode where a farmer looked at three different farms and had to pick one or stick with the farm he's on. That would be worth watching. He would be all excited about renovating his current dairy barn, but wants a a double herringbone milking parlor instead of a carousel. "Hillary, can you remodel the parlor for me?". "And replace that Harvestore silo with a concrete bunker". "And pattern tile the back forty".
My favorite DIY type of show is "Renovation Realities". People take on remodeling or house flipping projects and usually get in way over their heads. They have a small budget and a smaller timeline and run into all kinds of problems. Reminds me of myself. It's always comforting to see there are people just as incompetent as yourself. | |
