God's Country (N.C. Ia)
Hi Mace! 8 for 9 so far out of 31 total. Big bull calf found dead yesterday morning when I got there. No idea what happened to him, but his momma was not happy about it. Thought about trying to graft a boughten calf, but highly doubt I’d be successful with my total lack of experience with such things. Other 8 are off and running well. If I can improve my feed situation, I wouldn’t mind adding some cows, but I need to wait til I have more feed. Looking to grow some bmr sorghum Sudan on some rough acres we have been row cropping, so I should be on the feed hopefully by August. Might wait til after fall harvest to buy, but maybe sooner if the price is right.

How’s things with you?
