central - east central Minnesota -

I put those (both ends) on a new culvert, I installed 2 years ago, in another pasture dam, with an Anti-seep collar, also.

I will consider an inlet one, for this round 24" pipe. {= the outlet actually drops water onto a big chunk of concrete, in the ditch area (under snow, in photo)}

I didn't mention, Dad and I about 8 years ago, stacked about 20-24 of those concrete bricks around inlet to help with that "swirl effect" and it has been stable, since then. Now, most of those bricks have gone under culvert, itself.

I miss understood - I get the impression that water has flowed under and alongside the pipe now . . . . . My solution was only for the, what I thought was a bit of erosion within the last 3 ft of the pipe.

I would agree with other to dig up and rebury with anti-seep collar or concrete poured around inlet to keep from undermining . . .
Good luck.
