"Finding and eliminating the misshapen and irregular ones",,,see that's what it's all about. Really doesn't matter if your fist is roughly the right size or you use the tool to measure,,,the point is, you're kicking out the misshapen, irregular, or just plain too small ones. Too bad somebody doesn't want to experiment. Let's see 720, want to play? Have your vet measure about 2000 or whatever it takes at the local salebarn. All the ones that "by conventional thought" are too small, you take home and breed to whatever calving ease bull you choose (no Jerseys, that's cheating). Report back in, and tell us how many C's you do, and how many hfs you kill. Here's betting you aren't willing to prove a point, and your vet wouldn't take the bet either. Can't wait for somebody to ask whether semen checks are necessary,,,there's somebody out there that will dismiss that too.
