Beresford, SD | Too far out to worry, time value is expensive, feeder contracts are on a rip...most over 150/155 = wait for pullback if you feel a need to execute. Way to many unknowns...COG for next years turn? Who knows, you could be right with your thought. I'd relax and enjoy the up on current inventory, maybe sell into this deal.....I might start laying off a few Oct/Dec fats, sitting on the sidelines hasn't been wrong yet. Seasonally were getting there, but this feels different...funds are very long and instead of leaving thier buying the deferred (out of April into June/Aug). Spent the last hour on bar chart looking over futures, Puts and Calls.....hard to step in front of a train. Building a fence for fall might not be a bad option. My 2 cents. Time to put the boots on and check heifers, good luck. | |
