Ol’ Wisco | To me you are gaining no edge in trying to spec trade any type of long side of the market unless it is a high probability trade and those have low payouts so you need large volume. All you are doing is creating more unnecessary risk rather than trying to control the price risk you have by simply being a producer.
Although it took me about 3 years to learn that not trying to guess the market and essentially trade around my risk was a FAR better strategy than market picking. | |
