Subject: RE: Yellow Pea Growers

NE Colorado
See the dealers I talked to from south western Nebraska said that the 2nd week in March is optimal (Agri Force is one but I can't remember the dealer name for the other, just have his name), but one said he has had very good luck with going all the way to the 20th of April with Nettes because they are shorter flowering period, and what he gave up in extra flowering he gained in a better stand because the soil was warmer. But everything I have read has said the sooner you get them in the better, but it flat hasn't been an option the last few weeks now, but I don't want to simply give up on trying. Thought maybe if nothing else we do a half of a pivot so that we can run it around at 100% on them if it gets hot to keep them cool, propagate some seed, and learn some lessons.
