if you are close to the lifting capacity, i'd add lift assist, or go to a 4wd frame. I'm not sure if you can add enough weights to keep the front on the ground, depending how long/far back the unit is.
We have a case MX series that lifts a 8000 lbs bar, and is rated for 14,000. You can hardly steer with 10 weights and front duals on it.
