The Old Faithful Inn is quite a place. Inns in the park can be more rustic (no T.V. etc.) than other hotels ringing the entrances.

We never had been there until 2007 and liked it enough to return in 2008. Drop down to see the Tetons and Jackson Hole as well if you have time.

Combined, Yellowstone and the Tetons take time to see and appreciate. Make sure you see the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and the falls.

As a no-till farmer, I found the tree regrowth very interesting. (Mother Nature is a No-tiller)
