After looking at his first post again, I question how they arrived at a value of 10% for H with a buffer pH of 7.0. H is calculated from the buffer pH and not soil pH. This is one of the main reasons I would much rather make recs based on ppm sufficiency ranges and not BS%. There are too many errors that can enter into a "calculation of a calculation". I don't know anything about the lab he is using and don't want to make assumptions about their processes.
