I am leaning towards your way of thinking. I have since gone to no till farming now and berms suck.(ok they sucked in tillage too)
I went to JD's build a tractor and the 8345RT can still have the smaller bogie wheels(but poly only) and the smaller drive wheel for up to the 24 inch track. 25 and 30 inch tracks require/recommend bigger drive and wide bogie.
I will assume that your 25 has the larger drive wheel and wider bogie wheels?
