I've got 18 inch tracks on one of mine and 25 inch tracks on another. The one with the 25's berms much less then the 18's. As far as planting into your tracks, I dont think it matters all that much. It's not like planting into a wheel track because your tracks are already exerting much less psi on the ground then the tires.
