Just think about what the advances in genetics has added to your bottom line in the last 10 years. and the cost of seed went from $60 to $300 per bag.
In 2006 we paid $80 per ton for potash, this last year we paid $800 per ton. That 175 # of potash made me no more $$ than what I bought 3 years ago. My Dekalb seed sure made me a whole lot more.
