Subject: RE: Answers (some) on earlier question on seed sizes

Penobsquis, New Brunswick, Canada
i posted the original question about seed size.
currently i am involved with only cereals and dry edible beans.
i am getting my 06 crop feed analyzed to find out the quality of the crop.
my question was 2 fold....ie...does the seedling have more vigour coming from a seed that has a larger flour reserve and is the crop more valuable at harvest...ie....has more flour/nutrients......if the kernel is plump.
i am looking farther down the road than bushels per acre and pounds per bushel.
my original email was a fishing expedition.
thanks
FarmerTom
