Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
That used to irritate me to no end. They broke 3 tractors of mine by snatching it into park before it was stopped. It's not a brake, is a pawl. Pawls aren't meant to slow you down, they're meant to keep it from rolling when it's already stopped. Two of them had to be split to fix. The 4840 would roll the linkage over and you could fix it from the outside with a big pair of channel locks. Hopefully you can fix yours from the outside.
