I pressed this point home at our meeting. Monsanto's trait policing policy makes farmers guilty until proven innocent and farmers don't have the financial means to defend themselves. That is wrong in the USA.
People have a lot of rights here in the US. They also have the ability to make contracts. Unfortunately, most people contract their rights away without even thinking about it.
Unless you are referring to a farmer who has had his crop contaminated with a neigbors GMOs, and then gets sued by Monsanto. That is just plain wrong, period.
