Subject: RE: Diesel fuel algae? Photo

We have had good luck to add a product to kill the algae to the fuel tank. Fill the tank clear full. let set over the weekend. Send truck out on Monday with several filters and a driver who can change them. Usually that is me.
I also years back bought a new tractor that was several years old. I had all kinds of fuel problems. It turns out that some kinds of algae can eat the liner that is on the inside of the plastic tank on the tractor.
Once that liner is gone the fuel slowly dissolves the plastic. That in turn causes all kinds of bad things in your fuel pump.
