| ush makes a couple different grades of 3 pt mowers, or at least did. Lower grade is for the hobby farmer & is light weight. The top of the line is a well made mower & will last for years if used with a little common sense. I have a 7' mounted BH that was purchased new in 1964 and though it has seen it's better days it still will do a good job mowing. This mower was never babied. It was purchased back when we had "set-a-side" acres & mowed a couple hundred acres a year as well as roadsides, lots, creek bamks & has chopped off many a small tree plus has sat outside for most of it's life. Grarbox has never been touched, though it leaks and other than blades the only things replaced on it has been the front half of the pto shaft, a set of slip clutches, & the twp rear solid tires.
She's ready for the junk yard but she doesn't owe me a dime. In fact we bought a new 12715 batwing last year after owning a Woods 3180 that was a money pit.
