We have a small road side stand in the summer and have a bunch of pepper plants(bells, bananas and one 'hot' one that I forgot the name of)to set out now. Someone told us we need 500' seperation between varieties to prevent cross polination, is this true?
When the peppers pollinate, the seeds will be different, but the fruit will grow true to type. You aren't growing them for seed? |
