We bought a new FW60 in the mid 80s that came with the Cummins 855 motor and Allison automatic transmission, both were a factory option. It was a reliable tractor and we put maybe 4000 hours on it.
That must have been very rare, especially since the tractors were only built until the end of 1983. The Ford/NewHolland parts system does not list either the 855 or the automatic transmission setup.
Quite a few 855's transplanted into the FW's. We did it as well on our FW20.
