East of Broken Bow | Wife and I are taking the Emerson Eggrichs marriage seminar at Church. While I don't consider us to be in trouble, it is a real eye opener on the differences in how men & women behave in relationships.
The biggest eye opener, was about how many men are blindsided, by their wife deciding to leave them. It seems that the man tends to think that if they aren't fighting as much, it means things are going good. To the woman, not fighting 'for' your marriage, is a sign of giving up. Lots of stuff in there I had no clue about, and my wife could not communicate it to me, because of the fact that most men do not understand woman speak. (to be fair, most women don't understand man speak either, which leads to the communication breakdown).
I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you can work things out. Perhaps just re-assuring your wife, that she is like sunshine on a cloudy day, may open her up some to reconciliation.
