I use to raise a few feeder calves on the farm where I grew up, about 1 mile down the road from where I live. Sold the last in '79. For a couple years afterwards I would have dreams where I had forgotten to feed and when I would pull in the driveway there would be dead animals laying in the lot & barn and a few live ones that were nothing but a bag of bones. Haven't had any sense.
