South Georgia
I use these pans:

Sterilite 06575812 12-Quart Dish Pan, Classic Red, 12-Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004GXB6LO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_HLFCCbFBAK...

Bought 2 sets to have enough to test with. I don't have the grids in the bottom of them like somebody mentioned, but I've been spreading for four years and have seen no problems with streaking. I do think you need to get tht little graduated cylinders from New Leader or Newton Crouch or whoever to compare the levels in each pan. They're crazy expensive for what they are, but it's really hard to look and see the differences from one to the next without them. And expensive though they may be, they're not as expensive as a bad job of spreading.
