Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

jimgen - 2/23/2019 16:36 4WD, It has been a while but Witan has the dampner loose. Is there any damage that could occur to the crank or pulley assemblies. i.e worn metal from being loose. I would think the crank would be ok. Just thought I would mention. I still remember the taper nose Cummins cranks.

His bolts weren't loose, it was the outer ring of the old-style vibration damper that was getting loose on the rubber = he mentioned seeing bugled rubber and some shiny metal = the outer metal ring was probably close to fully coming off, from its rubber and inner metal mounting ring.
