If it's calling for the dickey john monitor I might assume it has the dickey john "style" sensors and harness. If that's the case, you have a ton of options. The kinze equivalent (built by DJ) is the Km-1000 and Km-3000. I have a KM3000 sitting here but it has to go with the planter if I ever sell it. I use Field IQ through my FMX Trimble display now. KM/DJPM seem to bring between $700 - $900 used. The KM-DJPM 1000's were pretty limited so at minimum I would want a 3000. Like I said, unless you find a good buy on one they are fairly expensive. Loup makes a good one if you are looking for a new one. They are great guys to deal with so give them a call. http://loupelectronics.com/products/loup-ii-planter-monitor.html.&n... I recall I had the Loup 1 on a JD 7000 planter. I think it was around $1,500 new. Worth it in my opinion. I don't know what the Loup II's cost. Sensor 1 makes one as well https://www.ebay.com/itm/Planter-Drill-Monitor-Row-Population-Digita... The KPM Kinze monitors were Mux Bus and wouldn't be compatible with the Dickey John sensors. You could also go to a 20/20 but that gets a little expensive. It all depends on what level you want to do. |
