Nova Scotia | The Reigi weeder is a good tool used to weed between rows NOT end rows or headlands. Ground needs to be soft enough for the Reigi to tear the weeds out. We sometimes would run a Danish tine ahead of the reigi. It's a dusty old job and the vibrations make your arms numb.
Finger weeders (finger hacke) are complimentary to the Reigi. They get weeds IN the row. If I had to choose just one I would get the Reigi and hoe the weeds in the row.
You could convert it from pto driven to hydraulic motor, but I don't see an advantage. Less noise? | |
