NC KS
Thanks to everyone for their compliments. I can't take very much responsibility for them as my wife pushes them a lot. When I was in high school, with a little help from parents, it didn't take much of an FFA project to put away some decent savings for college. These days have much tighter margins and more errors can happen it seems like. This is nothing that all of you don't already know.

Our voag program just about died a few years ago when the last instructor got married and moved away. Couldn't find an instructor any where. They talked a lady into doing it that had an agronomy degree but no teaching certificate. They put her on a fast track to getting her teaching certificate while she was raising a young family and managing the FFA and voag programs. With a lot of good volunteers (parents and others) helping in a lot of areas and some very active kids, the program is doing well.

Our school board has several farmers on it which helps but there are a lot of budget cuts going on. THrough the graciousness of the ag community, the FFA has some fund raisers and manages to raise enough money to pay for most of their trips and some food allowance for the participants.

Kaden is a district sentinel and a senior girl is district president which makes our adviser the district adviser.
