| Of the 3 you have narrowed to, I would get the sig. Sig is the sidearm the Navy Seals carry now. The Beretta M9 is junk.
I am like you in the fact that I love the 1911. I shot competition for years with custom government models and couldn't get used to anything else, especially Glocks. I shot one a few times and decided to give them a chance for a carry gun, I now own 3. The grip angle is different than a 1911 and takes a little getting used to but once you do, they are a fine weapon.
