Subject: RE: Eliminating cobs in corn sample- CaseIH Flagship

Clarksville, IL
we run large wire in front right then round bars in other 3 followed by large skip wires with 4 straight bars. some varieties are more easy to break up I did see some of that this year, same variety last year was fine but cleaned it up with the sieves samples are all .1-.2 FM im fine with that. we never have changed the vanes 25% corn and above im running 380 390 area in 18-15 this year I was down to 330-350 noticed some rotor loss running around 4.7-4.8 out of rotor in 260bpa corn was able to remove it with the concave fine down a notch. all of our vanes in the middle. we run beans with the same setup and ran wheat last years up to 17% got by just fine hope to run some around 20%. the hairpin is what I hear a lot about killing capacity but RB's I can say ive never saw it even when we shelled in the rain to finish a field it was clean.
