I have the Shoup valve that you referenced. I permanently mounted a residential single pole switch in a handy box clamped to the end of my extendable spout with the cord routed along the auger. I like not having to hold a switch “on” to operate.
I don’t have pictures but could get a few or you could see it in person if that is easier.
I had the manual valve and rope at the top of the auger, the electric valve is much nicer.
