My son will be 30 years old in less than a month. He has a wife and 4 young kids. She stays at home and raises them. He doesn't have a college education but works hard and provides well for his family...........including insurance. He was raised that way as well by the wife and me. I know it costs more to raise families now then it used to. But jobs pay better now than they used to as well. Most of us get out of life and work what we want out of it. I do think that a lot of our younger generation's problems would settle down if one of their parents were at home actually raising them. A good chunk of the time the 2nd parent really isn't even earning the difference anyway by the time you factor in extra cars/gas/nicer work clothes/etc. Anyway...........I'm not here to preach............but I agree a lot with the fellow you're arguing with.
