The Prescott, WA area is impressive as far as hills, and a short drive to diverse ag of the Walla Walla area. The Columbia Gorge is impressive. There's a guy over on combineforum.com that goes by the name 98J who might be willing ot show you around The Dalles area. From there, you can see MT Hood, Adams, St. Helen's, and Ranier.
