Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot | Yes, the dams and Crater Lake are two good sights. I know they used to do tours at Bonneville Dam and John Day. Grand Coulee Dam is much larger but is more of a drive. Probably worth it and you can see a lot of irrigated country in the Columbia Basin. Mt. St. Helens is interesting to me.
I'll also 2nd the Hells Canyon trip, and if it is possible do the jet boat ride down there.
If you go north of Reno you'll go right past my place right before you cross into Oregon.
