BTW when you say 'Japanese' or 'African' is that appropriate for some one who may have more history in this country than you?
I have seen thee question 'where are you from' asked of people who were born here from parents who were born here.
The problem of seeing some one as a foreigner if their skin colour is different or facial features are different is a problem when society segregates different ethnicities.
I am proud of our country when I visit our daughter in her subdivision and see people that came from origins from all over the world living side by side and helping one another without seeing differences. | |
