Teen-agers have always been jerks, & always will be.
4 of the best farmers I ever knew were Japanese guys whose families were moved out of California in WWII & put in the internment camps. They moved to this valley after the war & became respected members of the community. Their kids & grandkids are still around the area, although all their farms have had houses planted on them. I'm sure there were some instances of discrimination, but by & large they were accepted.
