Subject: RE: Pathology Report From Surgery

West Texas

Just my 2 cents, on the 27th of Jan this year, I celebrated my 37th year being cancer free. I was diagnosed with cancer on Jan 7, 1982 and the surgery was done on Jan 27, 1982. The next few years I was on pins and needles every time I went to the Dr and was elated each time when I was told that there was no sign of recurrence. Sounds like she is in good hands medically and now you know from experience that a person needs to be aware of anything that seems unusual. I'll never forget what my Dr told me so many years ago at MD Anderson hosp.  He said "Most cancers can be treated successfully if we get them early. However, many primary physicians will attempt treating cancer until it gets completely out of control, then they send the patient here to die and we get the bad reputation."
