Glasgow, Ky | After rereading your post my understanding is that you were short 500 total bushels, 100 to the custom operator and 400 to his buddy who works at the elevator. I suggest you talk to the elevator manager first and bring it to his attention that one of his employees sold 400 bushels of your corn and got paid for it. He needs to know about this and discuss it with his employee and be sure you get paid, one way or another. In addition, the employee needs to know this was unacceptable as well as informing all employees of this.
Far as the custom operator, and friend, i dont understand why he would do what he did over 100 bushels of corn. Something just does not smell right here. | |
